Peyton Reed did a good job directing Ant-Man, but to a certain segment of fans, he will always be the guy who isn’t Edgar Wright. Now, thanks to the first part of that sentence, THR reports that Reed is in negotiations to return for the film’s recently announced sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp, which is set for a July 2018 release. Unlike Ant-Man, this tiny news does not bring a lot of shock value, as Reed tweeted about the sequel after it was announced. As long as he brings back Michael Peña, we’re down.
