In The Grinder, Rob Lowe plays Dean Sanderson Jr., a TV actor who parlays his experience playing a lawyer into practicing actual law. (The show encapsulates the principle “fake it ‘till you make it.â€) Vulture has an exclusive clip from Tuesday’s episode where Sanderson’s television character, Mitch Grinder (meta, we know), catches a criminal with the old pretend-you-know-the-truth-so-that-they-accidentally-confess trick.
