We’re all adults here. We know how things go. We can be honest with each other, right? We all saw the box-office returns for Furious 7. We knew that, despite Vin Diesel’s subsequent hints that The Fast and the Furious series might end after its tenth film, ultra-profitable movie series basically don’t end anymore. And so Variety’s news that Diesel and Universal are currently dreaming up ideas for The Fast and the Furious prequels and spinoffs cannot rouse from us anything even approaching a sigh. A brief exhalation, nothing more. Such is the way of the world.
