Liam Neeson has apparently been chewin’ on gravel for the new film A Monster Calls, Juan Antonio Bayona’s adaptation of the acclaimed children’s novel by Patrick Ness. Neeson narrates the trailer in a voice so deep, if those kidnappers from Taken heard it, they would have just given his daughter back so fast there wouldn’t have been a movie. The film follows 12-year-old Conor (Lewis MacDougall), who, to deal with his mother’s illness and bullies at school, escapes into a fantastical world of monsters (the titular one played by Neeson). I think I speak for us all when I say, Liam Neeson, please scoop us all up in your giant monster hand and take us away from this world.
