Late Star Wars Fan Daniel Fleetwood Remembered in Emotional Tribute Video

In the wake of Daniel Fleetwood’s death this week at the age of 32, his widow Ashley has paid tribute to the late Star Wars fan with an emotional video tribute. Fleetwood had been living with a terminal case of spindle-cell sarcoma for two years when his campaign to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens before his death went viral last month. With Ashley’s hard work, the #ForceForDaniel campaign reached the film’s stars, and, eventually convinced Lucasfilm to grant Daniel a private screening of a rough cut of Force Awakens at his home last week. Daniel died a few days later. The video is an photographic timeline of Daniel’s life since childhood; as Ashley wrote in its description: “I had such an amazing time with you baby. I miss you more each day.�
