50 Cent has a new comedy in the works at Fox. According to Deadline, the rapper has teamed up with producer Will Packer to develop a single-cam comedy called My Friend 50, which will center on Amanda Kramer, “an unstable twentysomething who believes that joining 50 Cent’s entourage is the answer to all her problems. Her unlikely journey with 50 Cent’s crew takes the form of a bizarre documentary commissioned by the most unreliable narrator in history: Amanda.†Angie Tribeca’s Ava Tramer wrote the script, and 50 Cent will co-executive produce and also recur in the series “as a version of himself.†Similarly, Sean Combs is producing an ABC comedy about his former assistant Sarah Snedeker, a small-town girl who “is instantly thrown into a foreign world of extravagance, debauchery and adventure.â€
