Comedy people and husband/wife duo Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon have written a movie together, and they’ve got the perfect producer and director onboard to bring it to the big screen. Variety reports that Judd Apatow will co-produce Nanjiani and Gordon’s comedy Big Sick, which is “based on true events in their lives.†Nanjiani will star in the film, and Michael Showalter is attached to direct. No more details about the film have been released yet, but if the people involved are any indication, it should be pretty great.
