King George’s heavy crown is back on Jonathan Groff’s head in Hamilton, where the actor took a break to shoot the Looking movie. Which means theatergoers fortunate enough to sell their firstborn for tickets get to see Groff’s infamous strut, which comes stamped with the approval of Beyoncé, high priestess of stage walks. Groff was good enough to lead Stephen Colbert in a teach-in on that very strut on The Late Show, and, like a good teacher, he even makes sure there’s a book on his head. This is basically finishing school for how to get Beyoncé’s attention, and for the final exam, it’s a motherfucking walk-off.
