Standup Margaret Cho just landed a leading TV role. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cho has signed on to star in Highland, a comedy currently in development at Amazon that follows Cho as “a version of herself who, after a court-ordered rehab, gets a chance to start over but has to move in with her dysfunctional family who now run a pot dispensary.†Alcatraz and Lost writer Liz Sarnoff will write, and Cho will serve as a co-executive producer.
