The Wire, one of TV’s best dramas, made its name with its serious, gritty, and other various synonyms for “down to earth†depiction of the drug trade in Baltimore. Still, it never quite got the popular attention it deserved. Maybe that would have changed if it used this wonderful animated credits sequence, made by a particularly diehard fan on Vimeo. Or maybe that would have clashed with the whole “gritty†vibe. You know what? Maybe we keep this a secret from Mr. Simon.
