NBC has confirmed the rumors: Melissa McCarthy will host Saturday Night Live on February 13, and she’ll be joined by Kanye West. This will be McCarthy’s fourth time hosting the show and Kanye’s seventh performance, a record for a rap artist on SNL (he was tied with Eminem at six). As previously announced, Larry David will host on February 6 with musical guest the 1975. This is rather timely, as Kanye is set to drop his seventh album, Waves, just two days before his big return to SNL. He last performed a medley on SNL 40 with Sia and Vic Mensa.
