Shame is a powerful emotion, regardless of whether it’s experienced by human singers or frog puppets. When your lover catches you in flagrante delicto, it’s easy to lose track of what’s important (trust and communication with your partner) and stumble into doing something that only makes matters worse (fibbing about what’s happening).
This is a lesson that reggae-fusion icon Shaggy taught us in his classic banger “It Wasn’t Me,†and it’s also one that Muppet icon Kermit the Frog learned all too well over the course of his time dating Miss Piggy.
