ABC Orders Celebrity Game Show ‘Big Fan’ Hosted by Andy Richter

Not even a week after the concept behind James Corden’s Late Late Show “Carpool Karaoke†was poached by Spike for a new game show, today ABC added a new game show inspired by one of its own segments from Jimmy Kimmel Live. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network has ordered six episodes of a half-hour weekly game show called Big Fan, which is based on Kimmel’s popular “Who Knows…?†segment that pits a celebrity against one of their fans to see who knows the most trivia about the celebrity. Andy Richter is attached to host. Here’s more on the series via THR:

Each of the six episodes of the studio-based game show will feature one celebrity and three of their biggest super fans. The fans will go head-to-head with the winner facing their idol in the final round. If the super fan wins, their prize is an experience with the celebrity they admire most.

Kimmel will serve as an executive producer on the series, which doesn’t yet have a premiere date.
