Comedy writers and real-life best friends Molly McNearney and Kelly Oxford have a new show in the works at TV Land. According to Deadline, the two are currently developing a semi-autobiographical comedy for the network, in which they would also star as “fictionalized versions of themselves.” Not a whole lot is known about the project other than it will center on “the real-life best friends and their families.” McNearney is currently a co-head writer at Jimmy Kimmel Live, while Oxford is the author of the best-selling book Everything Is Perfect When You’re a Liar and is writing a second book for HarperCollins.
