Nick Offerman, former Parks & Rec actor and perpetual woodworking deity, has memorialized his old NBC show and family with belated souvenirs. As revealed by Parks co-creator Michael Schur on Monday, the manly man formerly known as Ron Swanson saved wood from the series and “made us all canoe paddles with it.†Vulture asked the Paddle Your Own Canoe author in October 2014 if he was going to take anything from set, and it looks like the sealed-lid strategy he mentioned paid off nicely.
Behold:
The paddle features the Pawnee seal and looks worthy of at least one Indiana Fine Woodworking Association award (for paddle). Champ indeed.
