Prepare to shoop once again — the Merc with a Mouth is returning to the big screen. Fox co-chair Stacey Snider just announced at CinemaCon that a Deadpool sequel is in the works, with Ryan Reynolds returning as the irreverent anti-hero, Deadpool scribes Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick doing the script, and Tim Miller once again sitting in the director’s chair. This news is in no way surprising, given that Deadpool has raked in more than $750 million at the box office so far and cost only $58 million to make, making it the highest-grossing R-rated film in history and a contender for the title of 2016’s most profitable movie. The Deadpool Moment continues!
