Hannibal Buress has a surprise new Netflix project premiering this Friday. In a press release, the streaming network announced today that it’s set to debut Hannibal Takes Edinburgh, a new comedy documentary starring Hannibal Buress, this Friday, April 8th:
Filmed over the course of 28 days in August 2012, Hannibal Takes Edinburgh follows Buress as the then up-and-coming comedian performed nightly to packed houses at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the largest art and comedy festival in the world. The film blends extended moments from Buress’ pin-sharp observational stand-up with scenes of the comedian waxing philosophic on building his comedy routine, life on the road for a comedian and immersing himself in the Scottish culture.
Netflix also premiered Buress’s most recent standup special Comedy Camisado earlier this year.
