Childrens Hospital might be over, but it looks like Rob Corddry isn’t leaving Adult Swim anytime soon. The network announced today that they’ve given a pilot order to a new quarter-hour live-action show from Corddry called The Hindenburg Explodes! Here’s more from the press release:
Adult Swim, a division of Turner, continues its successful partnership with Rob Corddry, the creator behind the Emmy-winning series Childrens Hospital, with The Hindenburg Explodes! a new comedy project. The quarter-hour live-action pilot is created by Corddry (Ballers), Josh Perilo (Wedlock) and Jonathan Stern (Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp). On May 6, 1937, the infamous Hindenburg zeppelin made its final voyage from Nazi Germany to New Jersey, where it exploded over a landing field. The Hindenburg Explodes! follows that flight and its unusual crew and passengers. The pilot is executive produced by Corddry, Stern and Becca Kinskey (Adult Swim Late Night Infomercials) and produced by Abominable Pictures.
