Mike Schur has a new show premiering on NBC this fall called The Good Place, and yesterday NBC released the first trailer. Starring Kristen Bell and Ted Danson, the series centers on “an ordinary woman (Bell) who, through an extraordinary string of events, enters the afterlife where she comes to realize that she hasn’t been a very good person. With the help of her wise newfound afterlife mentor (Danson), she’s determined to shed her old way of living and discover the awesome (or at least the pretty good) person within.†William Jackson Harper, Jameela Jamil, Manny Jacinto, and D’Arcy Carden round out the cast.
