Earlier this month, the Frozen-fan Twitterverse was all about Queen Elsa’s love life — particularly about the prospective women in her life. The #GiveElsaaGirlfriend campaign quickly became a trending topic. Fans were all about making Disney just a touch less heteronormative and finally adding queer royalty to the Disney roundup. And now, Idina Menzel (a.k.a. Elsa’s IRL voice) is right onboard.
“Adele Dezeem†confirmed her queer-Elsa fandom with ET on the red carpet of the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday: “I think it’s great,†she said. “Disney’s just gotta contend with that. I’ll let them figure that out.â€
