Here’s a clip from Louis C.K.’s visit to last night’s Conan, where he talks about his show Horace and Pete and how Alan Alda’s role was originally written with Joe Pesci in mind. Even though C.K. managed to score a meeting with Pesci about the project, he refused to be in the show and said he didn’t want to even read the scripts and hurt his feelings by saying no. “I said, ‘I’ve been a comedian for 30 years, you can’t hurt my feelings.’ And he goes, ‘You’re not so much a comedian as you think you are, pal.’†Watch some more clips from the interview below:
