Finally, the Vine generation has its own Fight Club. It’s Nerve, which stars Emma Roberts and Dave Franco as participants in a livestreaming app that gives people money for completing crowdsourced dares. Because this is a movie, those dares aren’t “Do a backflip in a Krispy Kreme†but sexy stuff, like shoplifting and getting naked. Also because this is a movie, things in Nerve spiral dangerously out of control, instead of slowly petering out a few months later when a different cool new app comes out.
