Four years ago, the notoriously reclusive Sia swore off touring, interviews, showing her face, and anything that would attract unwanted fame. Since then, she’s performed just a handful of times on TV, only recently breaking her own no-tour rule for two stunning shows at Coachella last month, with more planned, including one at NYC’s Panorama Festival. Apparently, she enjoyed ‘chella so much (or got offered enough $$$), that she’s finally taking her show on the road. Sia has announced the Nostalgic for the Present Tour — her first tour in five years — with support from Miguel, AlunaGeorge, and no doubt all her mini-mes. Plus, Paul Dano’s voice, which you’ll hear in the tour’s ominous trailer. (Dano, Kristen Wiig, Tig Notaro, and Maddie Ziegler all made cameos via pre-filmed clips during her Coachella sets.) The tour kicks off September 29 in Seattle and runs through November 6 in Austin. Tickets go on general sale May 20, but probably not for as cheap a thrill as you’re hoping. Sorry!
