Jeez, when is London gonna catch a break? These evil hyperintelligent madmen are popping up everywhere. To wit, Wayward Pines actor Toby Jones starts filming today on the second episode of Sherlock’s fourth season as a new, as-of-yet unnamed bad guy. “I’m excited and intrigued by the character I shall be playing in Sherlock,” he said. Sherlock co-creator Steven Moffat added that he’s “delighted to have Toby Jones on board, bringing to life one of Doyle’s finest villains.” No word on which of Holmes’s nemeses he will portray, but based on everything we know from the first three seasons of Sherlock, he is probably a really smart guy. Top-notch brain, if we had to venture a guess. Good at thinking, that is for sure.
