Hostel director Eli Roth is set to direct Bruce Willis in the remake of Death Wish, Deadline reports. Roth replaces the Israeli duo Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado, who reportedly left because of creative differences with the script, which was written by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski, who most recently created People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story. Willis will play Army vet turned vigilante Paul Kersey in the role made famous by Charles Bronson. Willis is also currently shooting the action movie Marauders and is signed up for a sixth Die Hard. We eagerly look forward to the installment when John McClane has to dust off his guns to protect his retirement home.
