If you and your beautiful spouse of 40 years get a late-night call from a woman who sounds an awful lot like Eva Longoria informing you of the legal ramifications of installing a furnace, do not put on your trousers and rush downtown for a filmed spanking. This phone call is a scam. Michigan has not allowed municipal bodies to issue spankings since 2003. This hoax has affected upward of two Michigan residences and yes, it was hilarious, but come on now, it’s the principle of the thing.
