Adam Sandler is working on his next Netflix movie, and Oscar-winning actress/singer Jennifer Hudson has signed on to costar. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hudson will star alongside Sandler in Sandy Wexler, which follows a talent manager (Sandler) who “represents a group of eccentric clients on the fringes of show business. His single-minded devotion is put to the test when he falls in love with his newest client, a talented singer named Courtney Clarke (Hudson), who he discovers at an amusement park.†The movie is set in the ‘90s, and Steven Brill (The Do-Over, Little Nicky) will direct. Production begins next month in Los Angeles, and it will debut on Netflix sometime next year.
