Get ready, Dungeon Masters, because there are more campaigns on the horizon. While Netflix hasn’t made an official announcement about future seasons of Stranger Things, the cast and crew are talking of the second season as a given. Actor Matthew Modine has said that there will be a second season, and recently, executive producer Shawn Levy went into greater detail, saying that the Duffer brothers will continue the show with the same characters rather than going the anthology route. “We definitely are hopeful to go several more seasons. And the plan is to continue with this set of characters while introducing a few critical key new ones next season,” Levy told Slash Film. “Things end up being resolved to some extent at the end of season one, but not entirely. And that’s why we’re so hopeful we get another few seasons to live with these people a little longer.” The season-one finale threw in a few final twists, indicating that we weren’t done with the small town of Hawkins, Indiana, and, of course, the upside down.
