Since the ice caps are melting and aliens might be trying to contact us (or at least Amy Adams), it’s never been a better time for basic scientific education. Netflix is launching a talk show with Bill Nye (try not to hear “the science guy!†after his name) called Bill Nye Saves the World in spring 2017. Each episode will “tackle a topic from a scientific point of view, dispelling myths, and refuting anti-scientific claims that may be espoused by politicians, religious leaders, or titans of industry.†Netflix is already starting to replace America’s criminal -justice system. Now it can run our schools, too.
