Earlier this year, BET announced Comedy Get Down, a new series from the standup supergroup of George Lopez, Cedric the Entertainer, D.L Hughley, Charlie Murphy, and Eddie Griffin loosely based on their ongoing live tour. Now, weâve finally got a little more info on the project: itâs a scripted, behind-the-scenes look life on the road, and Tawny Newsome (Bajillion Dollar Properties, Comedy Bang! Bang!) has just been cast as the crewâs tour manager.
