Over the past few weeks, Tim Heidecker and Vic Berger have been road tripping across the country, visiting both political conventions to create the two-part “Vic Berger Election Special: The Conventions.†As expected, the pair get into some seriously weird shit, from visiting a poorly attended Tiffany Trump concert to learning Bill Clinton’s long-winded opinions on Police Academy.
Berger is a staff editor at Super Deluxe and a frequent collaborator of Heidecker’s, who was recently profiled in The New Yorker for his bizarre and brilliant clips – many bite-sized enough for Vine – that use jumpy editing and strategic cuts of found footage to twist celebrities and politicians into cartoonish parodies of themselves. Earlier this year, Berger and Heidecker teamed up to prank Jeb Bush, with Berger elaborately faking a “Jeb4Prez†neck tattoo in response to a Tweet from Bush himself.
