At Amazon’s Television Critics Association panel earlier today, it was announced that Woody Allen’s new show, titled Crisis in Six Scenes, will premiere on September 30 on Amazon Prime. The six-episode, half-hour comedy series — which will not have a second season — “takes place in the 1960s during turbulent times in the United States, when a middle-class suburban family is visited by a guest who turns their household completely upside down.†Miley Cyrus, Elaine May, John Magaro, and Rachel Brosnahan are a handful of the actors starring in the series, while Allen wrote and directed every episode.
