Comedian Moshe Kasher has a new show headed to Comedy Central. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network has given a series order to Kasher’s Problematic, which was ordered to pilot earlier this year. The show will tape weekly in front of a live studio audience and feature Kasher “tackling polarizing topics in a talk format.†Kasher will host and co-executive produce the weekly series with @midnight’s Alex Blagg, Jason Nadler, and Jon Zimelis, and it’s slated to debut on Comedy Central sometime next year.
“I see myself as the Phil Donahue of the Internet Age except not as funny or dialed into millennial culture,†Kasher. said on the project. “This show will create a safe space for offensive comedy and more importantly engender conversations that will completely end all acrimony, racism, sexism, trolling and whatever else you find offensive online once and for all. I promise.â€
