Emma Thompson and Mindy Kaling are starring in a movie together. According to Variety, Kaling and Thompson will star in an upcoming movie written by Kaling, which is described as “The Devil Wears Prada meets Broadcast News.†Thompson will play “a venerated late-night talk show host who’s in danger of losing her long-running show right when she hires her first female writer (Kaling).†Scott Rudin is producing the film alongside Howard Klein and Kaling.
