After leaving fans jonesing for new music with just the trickle of occasional singles for the past four years, Usher finally dropped his new album Hard II Love a full three days ahead of the September 16 scheduled release date. Hard II Love, which is Usher’s eighth studio album and his most recent since 2012’s Looking 4 Myself, features 15 tracks including the previously released “Crash,†“No Limit†(featuring Young Thug), “Missin U,†and, from the Usher-starring boxing movie Hands of Stone, “Champions.†The album is a true return to form for the R&B artist, complete with falsetto crooning and sexy bed-thumping beats, and it arrived for streaming on Tidal at midnight on Tuesday.
