Watch Usher Jazz Up the Chainsmokers’ ‘Don’t Let Me Down’

With a full band, including a horns section, Usher took on the Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down” during his BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge performance. The singer was promoting his soon-to-be-released album, Hard II Love, when he took a break from his songbook to croon the 2013 dance hit. Though the number started as a pretty straightforward rendition, he added plenty of soul and falsetto riffs by the midway point. During the appearance, he also performed his new single, “Crash,” off of Hard II Love and a few favorites from his earlier albums. Hard II Love goes on sale September 16.
