Zelda, about the Jazz Age “It†girl who famously struggled with her own creative works while inspiring those of husband F. Scott Fitzgerald, will pair Lawrence with possible director Ron Howard. Howard is developing the project now, with an interest in stepping behind the camera, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Nancy Milford’s biography Zelda is the basis of the project, which has a script penned by Emma Frost (The White Queen). Lawrence’s casting sounds like a good fit — after all, Fitzgerald was known as the “first American flapper,†while Lawrence is famously, gloriously flappable.
