Lady Gaga has a million reasons to be happy after Joanne took the number one spot on the Billboard albums chart in its debut week. Joanne, Gaga’s fifth solo LP, sold 201,000 units, far exceeding the expected 180,000 units music-industry forecasters predicted, reports Billboard.  This is the fourth time the “Perfect Illusions”singer has found herself in the number-one album spot — previously she claimed the title with Born This Way, Artpop, and a joint venture with Tony Bennett, Cheek to Cheek — and the win is a significant one: she is now the only female-artist to have earned the top title with four different albums in the 2010s. As of now, power houses Beyoncé and Taylor Swift each trail Gaga with three chart-topping albums this decade. Gaga, who has been promoting the new release with appearances on James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke and Saturday Night Live, was elated by the news, and responded on Twitter, “That’s a grand slam!” Read her tweet below.
