Ezra Miller’s natural affability is no doubt part of what landed him the role of the Flash in DC’s cinematic universe, but the buck can only go so far. Recently, at the premiere for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Miller was happy to oblige a fan’s request to sign something … until he saw what exactly that something was: a Marvel comic. Miller then refused, pleading with the fan, “You understand why I can’t sign that, right?†He also offered to sign something else, and continued, “It’s so obvious why I can’t sign that. I’m sorry. I really can’t.†Um, like, contractually really, perhaps? Dang, “the Flash,†if you had just signed it really fast, no one even would’ve noticed.
