As brutal as the Death Star’s destruction of Alderaan was in the first Star Wars installment, at least we never saw it from the Alderaanian perspective. This December, it appears that moviegoers won’t be so lucky. A new international trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has appeared, and about one-third of the stuff in it is new, including a bit where the motley crew of protagonists makes their getaway from a world that just got blasted by everyone’s favorite spherical super-weapon. We also get new bits with Donnie Yen’s Chirrut Imwe, Darth Vader, and what seems to be the mother of Felicity Jones’s Jyn Erso. Plus, there’s more of the scene where Riz Ahmed’s Bodhi Rook says the name of the movie, which is one of the proudest traditions in film.
