Get ready for Extreme Carpool Karaoke: Grammy Edition because James Corden is taking over the show. Variety reports that Corden will host the 59th Grammys next February, as has always been his destiny. He’ll replace departing host LL Cool J, who’s emceed the show for five (!) consecutive years but has since marked new territory over on Lip Sync Battle. There’s no word on whether the veteran Tony Awards host will move the show from the Staples Center to the inside of a car, but if we were Beyoncé right about now, we’d start sharpening our karaoke skills. The 2017 Grammys airs February 12 on Corden’s home of CBS.
