In a video for “Tested,†Adam Savage pays Peter Jackson a visit at Jackson’s “cave,†actually a perfectly modern structure in which Jackson houses an impressive collection of movie props. The objects in Jackson’s care range from a somewhat niche kind of nerdy — Daleks! — to more mainstream curiosities, like model velociraptors from Jurassic Park. Most of the video, however, focuses on Jackson and Savage playing with one of Hal’s eyes from 2001: A Space Odyssey, because apparently neither of them learned a thing from that movie.
