Realizing Monday night’s “Closer Look†segment might not have been enough to fully encompass what Wolf Blitzer refers to as the “transition turmoil†within President-elect Donald Trump’s administration, Seth Meyers came back for a second night to investigate Trump’s personnel further. Meyers continued to hit chief strategist Steve Bannon hard on Tuesday’s Late Show, pointing to a clip of conservative pundit Glenn Beck referring to Bannon as “a terrible man,†Meyers quipped, “You know the world has gone insane when Glenn Beck and Bernie Sanders are on the same page.†He then questioned the involvement of Trump’s three oldest children — Donald Jr., Eric, and Ivanka — as political advisers, given that they are also supposed to be running the business tycoon’s companies.
