All rumors must either be proven false or true in time, and this one just came TRUE: Beyoncé officially took the stage at the Clinton campaign’s Cleveland get-out-the-vote event, wearing a very fetching polka-dot pantsuit to boot. Earlier reports predicted her presence, especially given that the event was headlined by her husband and frequent collaborator, Jay Z. After a series of performances from Jay, Chance the Rapper, Big Sean, and J Cole, Ms. Carter stepped onstage around 10 p.m. EST. She spoke eloquently about the influence having a black president had on her nephew before transitioning to Clinton, saying, “Look how far we’ve come from having no vote to being on the brink of history. I want my daughter to grow up seeing a woman lead our country.†She then confirmed, “I’m with her.†You can also check out fan-shot video of Queen Bey’s performance, and the full show below (beware: this is raw, unedited footage with audio gaps; Beyoncé appears around the two-hour mark).
