Kate McKinnon just landed another starring movie role. According to The Hollywood Reporter, McKinnon has signed on to star in the upcoming Lunch Witch film, which will make the live-action directing debut of Angry Birds’s Clay Kaytis. Based on Deb Lucke’s 2015 children’s book of the same name, the movie centers on McKinnon as Grunhilda, “a cold-hearted woman who inherits her famous ancestors’ recipes and cauldron in a world where no one believes in magic anymore. When she takes on a job as a school lunch lady, she delights in scaring students — until she meets a timid girl who needs help at school and home and becomes an unlikely friend.â€
