In defiance of nature and God’s will, the Rolling Stones just released their 26th album. Blue and Lonesome is entirely comprised of blues covers, drawing from the venerable discographies of Howlin’ Wolf, Little Walter, Memphis Slim, and other dusty luminaries. The Stones lived long enough to see the advent of Spotify (though it’s hard to imagine Mick or Keef ever using it, I have this feeling that Charlie is streaming-adept), where the new LP is available in full.
