In addition to bringing the hits to James Corden’s car, Bruno Mars was all about sharing his main sources of joy: fantastic hats and going full-out with the dance moves, even when constricted by a seat belt. During Tuesday night’s Carpool Karaoke segment, Mars opened up to Corden about his passion for Elvis Presley, who inspired him to be a singer — so much so that if Mars doesn’t have a Fat Elvis stage of his career than he’ll know, “I didn’t make it.†The Late Late Show host also opened up to the Grammy-award-winning singer by admitting that he could not pull off Mars’s “saucy†shoulder moves in the bedroom. (“I’d be living on my own, with a roommate.â€) By the end, both are rocking silk shirts and cool hats, and fully loving life — so much so that we hope Mars returns again to promote his next album Wine and Wet Wipes.
