The truth is out there, “there†being wherever Tom DeLonge happens to be standing at that exact moment. The former Blink-182 member was recently named UFO Researcher of the Year by Open Minds Productions for his efforts to expose “a vast UFO cover-up within the government.†As you might recall, the WikiLeaks’ hack of John Podesta’s emails revealed a correspondence with DeLonge about Area 51 and other hot-button issues among alien aficionados. The singer-guitarist claims his book Sekret Machines: Chasing Shadows is based on information he allegedly received from sources in the Department of Defense and NASA.
“There’s a lot that I can’t say, but there’s some that I can. And I’m so appreciative that I’ve been acknowledged for this stuff, but I’m not done,†DeLonge says in his acceptance speech video, which you can watch in its entirety above. “I’m just like you guys. I spent 20 years up all night, reading about Roswell, Dulce, Serpo, Churchill, the crashes here, Nazis building craft there and Antarctica, what’s on Mars, what’s on the back of the moon, anomalous structures. I mean, I’ve done it all. I know it all.†The current Angels & Airwaves vocalist also promises a big project to be announced within the next 60 days. So better luck next year, every other UFO researcher on the planet or wherever.
