Just hours after singing a heartfelt cover of the Beach Boys’ “God Only Knows,†the two released the extended studio version to refill our well of tears. There are harmonies, high notes, and general magnificence from the couple, whom we’d love to see star in an immediate La La Land remake. Erivo and the cast of The Color Purple also won a Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album last night, boosting Erivo’s EGOT chances. May the Oscar odds be ever in her favor.
