Taran Killam’s long in-the-works Showtime pilot is not moving forward at the network. According to Deadline, Showtime has decided not to move forward with the half-hour pilot Mating, which was ordered back in August. Written by Stu Zicherman, the pilot starred Taran Killam as “a freshly divorced guy who got married at a young age and is now trying to navigate a much-changed, complicated dating world,†and each season of the show was set to feature a different protagonist. In addition to the Showtime pilot not moving forward, yesterday it was also announced that Killam will leave Hamilton on April 13th; he made his debut back in January.
